Course concept
The NVQ in Information Technology (ITQ) is a nationally recognised
qualification that demonstrates proficiency in software and
IT - custom-made to an individual, specific job or role in the
workplace.
ITQs are made up of a number of modules selected
from a core list and at three different 'mix and match' levels.
This selection makes the ITQ unique to the business and/or employee.
It relates directly to the job and the skills required to carry
out this job.
An independent Assessor / Tutor first assesses
the workplace/job, trains the employee in the requisite skills,
before assessing the Learner's ability to carry out 'real life'
tasks using these newly acquired skills.
