At BEST Computer Training, we offer a comprehensive range of English and Maths courses specifically designed to help you find out where you are in the world of literacy and numeracy and improve on what you already know no matter what stage you are. Whether you are leaving school and would like to improve your maths and english to help you find a job or if you are just out of practise and would like to brush up, we have courses that will suit you level and even earn you a recognised Level 2 qualification.

Learndirect Courses in English and Maths available at BEST Computer TrainingThese short online courses with tutor support cover basic Skills such as grammar or percentages and are applied to real-life situations so you become more confident more quickly. You will be given an Initial Assessment at first to determine your current Skills Level and then an Individual Learning Programme will be developed with you to suit your needs.

National Certificates in Adult Maths & English (Level 1 and 2)
The National Certificates in Adult Literacy and/or Numeracy recognise your achievements in Skills for Life learning. Level 1 is equivalent to GCSE (grades D-F) and Level 2 is equivalent to GSCE (grades A-C).

There are four tests - Literacy Levels 1 and 2 and Numeracy levels 1 and 2. You'll be given advice by our Tutors on the short courses you need to study to prepare you for taking your test and getting that certificate!
